an apology

Hey....

I bet you don't remember me, or perhaps maybe you do;

but I'd like to apologize for the way I've treated you.

I'm sorry for all the things I said, so malevolent and cruel.

Just words of hate, and condescension spoken by a fool.

I'm sorry for the tears you shed, and the pain I put you through.

I bet you thought I didn't care, but I was hurting too.

Every day I live my life feeling guilty, and upset.

 I'm sorry that I was that person, you wished you'd never met.

But all those evil things I did, weren't only just to you.

I'm also sorry for all the pain I've caused my family too.

So now I try to right the wrongs, before anything can worsen.

Because after all when I say you, I address more than one person.

So to everyone I've ever hurt, here's a message to you from me.

I hope you all have a happy life, wherever you may be.
