Media Distortion

Dysfunctional intimidation

Breaking all circuits,

With immediate exxagerations

Twisted from almost nothing.

 

Vicarious and gullible minds

Enthrilled in the mediocre distortions

Too infused and uneducated

With mouths full of poison.

 

Flames spread rumors in waves,

Reality ceases to become existent

Overwhelmed in the fear and panic

Falling quickly to disease of humanity.

The poem told the truth. Led by liars. Hard to know the truth. History is a fine teacher. Need a balance budget and stop giving money away we do not have to other countries. We all will pay for the wasteful spending of foolish men. Can't save the world when your world is falling apart. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Read a lot of poems tonight and wasn't feeling any spark from most of them. This poem snagged something inside of me and struck a note. I have seen a lot of nastiness in the recent past but refused to reciprocate the same. Your words are written so well to call it, challenge it, and ask the reader to do the same.
