Haiku

Honey-dipped flowers flourish

One thousand keys open doors

Nightmares fade to black.

Carry me to heaven

Candy clouds of my mind's eye

Stairway to the skies.

Into forever,

My yesterdays disappear

Petals in the breeze.

Reality dies,

Breathless - no need to wake up

Dreams, take me away.

Someone suggested I make some connectives with my haikus I've been trying to do lately. So I made an attempt to write one. Let me know what you think.

I can really really relate to this. When reality becomes boring, off to Dreamland! I just zone out, and imagine myself in a better place, with everything that you have said here. It's not a feeling of being lost, as in lost in the woods, but it's that feeling of being lost in awe, a good feeling, and well, I'm genuinely lost in the words of your poem now.

Oh how i adore this poem! Dreams is where i wish i could stay forever! not in reality at all. I love how this makes me feel... it's so peaceful and calming for me. Dreams are - our secret gateaway... a special place where we can belong and keep reality away.. =) I love it. So dreamy and the feeling of being lost in a different world other than our own... just beautiful!
