A dedication to WC's fighter, a.k.a Cairo Dante, a courageous fighter.

I see the pain behind the smile, your disguise,

You have been dealt many trials and tests,

Not able to rest, nor escape your blue silken prison,

Missing life, the pace, the taste, your memories fogged,

But hold on my friend, hold on…

 

You have come so far, you’re a fighter

An armoured soldier at war, steel glistening with victory

The warrior we know and love, our fighter,

Filled with courage, conviction and compassion,

War on my friend, war on…

 

You, the sun’s warm glow, which dark cloud obscured,

The positivity that you shine upon us all, resplendent rays,

Break through, sunrise and sun falls,

But it always rises again, victorious,

Shine on my friend, shine on…

 

I know the fight is hard, the battle long and tiresome,

Shrouded mystery of life is daunting, dejected you feel,

Pain is a mountain to be overcome, rugged ridges rise,

But you are dedicated and determined, fighter,

Stay strong my friend, stay strong…

 

I know not your struggle, nor do I pretend

But pain has accompanied me before,

In WC, you are so treasured here, and outside these walls,

Many are fighting by your side, support is very near,

Push on my friend, push on…

 

We have faith in you my friend; keep the beast at bay,

Besieged as you may be, fight until you’re free

The cowardly beast you’ll slay, until then,

WC is here fighter, vouching for you my friend

You’ll win my friend, you’ll win…

 

Author's Note

Hey everyone, some of you know Cairo Dante, some don't. He's a good friend and a courageous fighter. In fact I am going to call him that from now on. Nickname, Fighter.

Anyway... he's been having it rough lately, with health issues and C fighting etc so I just wrote a little note/ free verse/ encouragement for him, not my best work but it was written with little sleep at 3am. If you want to know who I am talking about, his profile link is below.

Cairo is a friend of mine.. he's a courageous fighter indeed. It best suits his situation being face right now. I just hope that every thing would go fine and be sorted out very soon. I know of him and I very enjoy his pieces so this is absolutely beautiful, and so so so sweet, this is just the best thing someone could do for another person, I hope he sees my comment he needs to stay strong, and he's a fighter, and writes beautifuly, and so do you (: this is just so sweet, really brought up my mood for the night this is just such an uplifting piece it's one I will re read over and over again, because it can literally relate to anyone that is feeling down and out about themselves, this is just i'm in awe it's perfect
