Blue Eyes and Black LashesA Poem by ButterflymomIn memory of............dead butterflies and desparado's.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Blue Eyes and Black Lashes.
Blue eyes and long black lashes, Butterflies and desparado's, Stir hidden places deep inside of me. Butterflies die when their wings are pinned down And desparado's just ride away. I've never been one to crush such creatures Or hold on past it's time But GOD, I've enjoyed the BEAUTY, And over the elusiveness I've cried, and felt unknown grief and the hearthache of watching a captured one die.
