Unseen Threads

Unseen Threads

A Poem by Butterflymom

Along the Ganges river by day
Singing and dancing the two did play
Daily adventures and childhood fantasy
On explorations and journeys new
Joy filled days consumed the two

Along the Ganges river by night
The two grew older under the moon
Discovering each other with new light
Exploring the passion of youth so bold
Threads held the two so very tight

Along the Ganges river by day
The couple's life was fading
With children and grandchildren they did play
Enjoying and recollecting their life together
Threads that held the couple so tight now only tethered

Along the Ganges river their offspring dwell
Telling others of the love the two had shared
Stories of how the two were meant forever to be
Their lovely souls finally set free
To dance and sing again along the Ganges river.
