Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire

A Poem by C.M.
"

I believe that this is probably my favorite poem I have written, mainly because it is something everyone needs to hear.

"
A mirror is a fraud.
A mirror is a fake.
Mirrors only forsake.

It never shows us what we need to see,
Only what we fail to be.
Leaving us wanting to flee.

A mirror is a liar.
A mirror gives us what we cannot acquire.
Mirrors only make us desire.

Look past the reflection,
See only perfection,
And know that you need no correction.

I'm sorry, but I'm a spelling Nazi. It's flee. The word you used was the word explaining the little bug you find on animals. But still beautiful!
