The Memoir of...

The Memoir of...

A Poem by Sira YR

Conceived in sorrow, despair, darkness
Nursed by the milk of animosity,
Nurtured, raised
By the hand of persecution
Oppression
Having one solitary purpose:
To cleanse, purify, unmask
Those stained souls
Disguising themselves as saints
Those tainted souls
Hiding themselves amidst the sea of humanity
Those weak souls
Unable to resist the wiles, temptations
Falling victim to life's evil seeds

I am come to expose all those unworthy
To rid this world, one by one,
Of sinners
Of those evil souls masquerading,
Portraying themselves
As innocent saints
I am come to cleanse, purify, punish, destroy
I am become despair, sorrow itself
I am...

OMMMMMGGGGGG.....I am so honored. I can't believe that you have pulled this off with such class and details. It's everything what my tormentor is....this is beautifully written and I feel so humbled by this great no....superb piece of work. I am gobsmacked and quite taken back by this. This is perfect, you have captured everything which I try to put across in my work amazingly well. I am so chuffed - no more words can express how I feel.

I truly feel humbled, I really do.

Amazingly well written and it has really touched me more than you will know.

Mark.

Jeez, this is so amazing! Every word was so powerful and filled with psychological depth. Insanity, madness; these things seem to flow with purity and righting the wrongs in the world. It's interesting how you were able to create a person, or a concept of a person, that can be both destroying and giving in its nature. This person is filled with as much darkness as light. Those contradictions makes this person so human and relatable. Thank you for sharing this!
