Last Planet

This is the last habitable planet in the universe. Seriously, from here all the way out into the infinite void it's all just rocks and bone dust. The rest of them used up their time long ago. They lived like theirs was a small an insignificant existence. There were so many of them, how could they see it coming? Now? Bitter nothingness. The universe is vast and quiet and dead. 

Let us not make the same mistake.
