A poem I wrote about being yourself and, well, about how life is a race you gotta run.

Life's Race

Have you ever wanted to take someone elses place

Well let me tell you something, you gotta run your own race

Don't get me wrong, the road is long

There's gonna be hurtles long the way

In each in every day

You're gonna stumble oh- you're gonna fall

You're gonna find your track will wander off

At times it'll seem like there's no track at all

Thats when you stop, when you kneel down and pray

Father, help me run this race

Pick me up when I fall, can't carry on

Carry me through, let me trust and lean on You

Take my hand, lead me to Your promised land

Give me Your strength to soldier on

Let me mount up with wings like eagles

Help me to run and not be weary, to walk and not to faint

A good poem with a beautiful imaginary. Fourth and fifth lines're very nice. "life's a race" this's my IInd chapter's name of my book "REALITY OF LIFE" and what you've just pasted here, i thought the same indirectly.
There's really no need to criticize you in this poem. It's very nice and lovely poem. You thought better about life as what i think.
