A Poem by Christa Raelyn

Look up at the sky and reach for the stars.
I'm by your side even though your mind thinks i'm far.
I'll be the light guiding your way through the dark.
Smile and reminisce on the days spent making memories with me instead of trying to mask your pain with vices.
When your missing me just promise you'll try this..

This are the kinds of words so many people long to hear & need to hear, but people in general seem to mostly withhold such expressions of caring connection. This is a lesson in how to be a friend. Many times we cannot be with a person physically, especially with our times being what they are, & this poem shows how to bridge the gap even when you can't be there for (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The poem does feel like the person is in heaven sending down solemn advice, which is great.
Obviously not of course, but the sentiments are sound.

Thanks . That was the goal.
While this is an interesting poem, I'm afraid I have to be that guy again. If people commit suicide, they do not go to Heaven. Sorry to have to be the one to write this, but this is the cold, hard, unpleasant truth. Suicide is self-murder, and those who do it do not go to Heaven. Only God has the authority to take life and give it. If a person takes their own lives, that disqualifies them from Heaven since they have committed self-murder.

I would rather provide truthful guidance than false comfort. If I am to be hated for that, I will rise to the occasion. If you or anyone else here must hate me for the words I write here, so be it. I've gone through life being unconcerned what people think, and I will do the same here. It's a nice gesture, and I'm sure it's meant with the best of intentions, but I don't believe in spreading false comfort.

So...in light of all this, appreciate my honesty or hate me for it. The choice is up to you and all others here.

Seems to be written for one not at hand and maybe at risk. The advice to think on happier times is solid. I hope it is enough.
