Hi, getting Ready to say Good Bye

Hi, getting Ready to say Good Bye

A Poem by Caladoscope
"

My Mother is and was too much for words

"
Hey Mum
I know you've left the building
You've checked out
You're Gone

I know you're here
Not really, though
Not for long

Something happened when you fell
That time you were alone
So tired after 80 plus years

And then you just let go
And decided you were done
No more outside.  No more fears

I am flying out to see you
Will you remember me I wonder
I'm sure we'll talk about the weather for a short while

And then you'll lose focus
After 5 minutes
And drift away again with a smile

Lost in the game?
Lost in your thoughts?
What are you thinking now, Mum?

Do you remember that you love me?
Will you know how much I love you
No matter what may come?
