Running

Running

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

I'm tired of running away from my problems...

I'm out of breath,

And I figure the last run I make,

I better make it a marathon...

But honestly, I hate being alone...

I'd need someone to make sure I'm safe

And who cares about me, and in my mind...

I see you running beside me.

short, simple, yet well-stated nonetheless--your honest feelings say it all.

Simple, that's why it's good.

kind of nice ... she wants someone to run alongside her as she faces her problems head-on ... then at the end she gets her wish ... very nice ... not bad ... simple ... easy to understand and follow ... very nice indeed ...
