Vision of the Moon

Vision of the Moon

A Poem by Carley Hew
"

Looking at the moon on the way home from work tonight, a line suddenly came to mind "Have you taken a look at the moon tonight?"

"
Have you taken a glance at the moon tonight
Robust it hangs in the sky
Tonight I forget about the stars resting next to it
Tomorrow the sun just wont compare
It's beauty comes so naturally
And although blemished it may be
I have never seen something so perfect
Untouched by millions of human hands
A vision

adore the innocent enraptured voice of the narrator~ comparisons are given extraordinary depth and make the core subject all the more brilliant~ much enjoyed! especially since I myself and quite fond of the lunar beauty~

First...Lol at the pic...
Hurm, I never thought that moon could be that pretty...
In fact I never though moon was pretty at all...

Good imagination you go there...

I realled liked how you said "tomorrow the sun just wont compare" that gave something to think about. :)

'Robust' is an unusual and very effective way to describe the moon. I really enjoyed reading this.
