this is brilliant! I love this so much, the presentation is awesome and so clever and every stanza is wonderful and makes me want coffee and tea. So delightfully yummy! I love both coffee and tea, like you. Coffee in the am and tea later in the day. Definitely in my library!

Coffee for me, though an occasional cup of tea is good, too. With fine poetic flair, you make them both sound simply amazing. In the navy, not a bit of work would ever have gotten done without copious amounts of coffee. (Large coffee urns were everywhere) Now old and sailing no more, the first thing I do each morning, well... the second thing, is put the coffee on. I'm pretty sure it helps the brain to work better.

i would imagine all the military forces are into coffee drinking at times when alcohol is not allowed.
australians years ago used to drink more tea, but think that's changed now from overseas influences. cheerio carola

Your description here Carola stimulates the reader's taste buds and sense of smell. I love the aroma of coffee, but find it too strong for me. I very rarely drink it, but is a different story for tea. I love fruit teas as well as redbush which has a strong flavour. No weak tea for me and just a splash of milk. I like the layout and the colours you have used here, which resemble the colours of both tea and coffee. Not a fan of green tea although I do know it is full of oxidants and is good for you. I enjoyed reading your poems and the depth in your subject matter. All the best.

i used to drink a lot more coffee, but now keep it down to 1 cup a day unless I happen to go out for lunch, which now during our covid era is pretty rare. remember though if you make plunger coffee you have the option of making it as weak as you like.
my sister is visiting Australia so we went out for lunch today & I had a flat white coffee with added hazelnut flavour, I've not tried the added flavour before, it was yummy!

I've always been a green tea drinker. I put a little honey in for taste and I'm good to go. Your descriptions for each here is perfect. You've got great concrete detail I admire.

Good subject matter
I drank nothing special for years, then got slowly hooked on coffee it being a social drink in our area and now it is an every morning drink, but that is the only one I take all day.
From then on it is water; cool, clear water (I think there is a song about that)
