What a bright welcome to your visitors, message in hand and more. Carola, your advice is more than logical, more than kind, more than everything perhaps. But we all learn or should, by the past this and that. It empowers one's armour, protects from rusting tears.. sometimes.

But that said, not complaining, life happens. So, must emphasize, the advice you;ve shown and offered will be held close. No kindness should be ignored. You chose to use 'yellow' as your words' background, and that is the all-giving joy colour..

hi emmajoy, thanks for visiting & commenting. how very observant you are, yes I wanted a warm & bright colour a reminder of the sun's warm rays, so I chose a warm yellow rather than a cool yellow. cheerio carola

if we saw our future & could change it, the results could still be unexpected & unwanted on the altered path! ....back to square one.

I think I am already in cognitive decline...
I don't know what is forwards and what is backwards.
But if I could just remember. mmm.
If only.
I had that single by Doris Day. It was one of the first 45 records my folks bought me when I was around 6...that was when it came out...
I played it quite a bit.
I really like this poem.

well i take after my father so i'm hoping that also includes no dementia which unfortunately my mother had.
i love that D.D. song, I often have it buzzing around inside my head.
