Shrouds of Tears

Shrouds of Tears

A Poem by Carrie Manor

Voices speak upon a cold morning air.

Raptures of beating hearts grow weary more she bears

shouting, shroud torn souls shatter by heavy rain

breath is reaped from her longs

forlorn looming oer a window’s gaze

for a lover, never to return.
