Dear Chris

Dear Chris,

You fill my countenance with gladness,

you fill my heart with joy.

Your my shelter from the rain,

you rose me from a dismal, dreary grave.

You bring me comfort,

love and inner peace.

None, like I’ve ever known before.

You as you are,

your entire self I’ve come

to adore.

I’m glad I’ve found you,

you give me strength 

to embrace each day.

With you, I know

I’m never alone.

Only as a friend, or a lover,

I’ll stand by your side,

and hold your hand.

I’ll be with you always

if not in person

it shall be in spirit,

heart,

and mind.
