A Flock of Nymphs

A Flock of Nymphs

A Poem by Casanova

I took a walk through a field

on a misty irish night

in thick bush, past the old pond

I saw an enchanting sight

A flock of Nymphs were playing

free of concern for earthly care,

they had seen me before,

but now they did sweetly  stare

They saw the gray in my hair

my youth slipping quietly away,

I had seen them 30 years ago

they had not aged, not even a day

They embraced  me with their love

tears fell down each face,

I wished I could be as they,

young forever, in this enchanted place

Gone was the boy they once knew

now with memories good and bad,

One still loved me above all,

her Beauty so perfect, it made me sad

Sad, that I would soon leave this place

back to a world in need of Love,

but forever my heart would be young,

Kissed by Nymphs, softer than a dove

Wonderful. reminds me of my poem I wrote. Nymphs are mythical entities in a human form.
Nymphs are typically associated with particular landforms.

I saw such a mystical quality in this, and it was very enchanting. The imagrey took me to the field in Ireland, the mist surrounding you and the Nymphs. good job!!!!
