I don't want flowers. I need you.

I don't want flowers. I need you.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Appreciation and real gifts of love lead to good places.

"

I don’t want flowers. I need you.

(We forget what we really  need. Need passion and desire to keep love alive.)

A beautiful woman is waiting for me.

I promise her dancing and presents.

I arrive home with flowers and candy.

Her eyes goes soft.

She whispered “Please don’t buy me flowers.
I don’t want diamonds or gold.
I just want you to need me.
For you to yearn for my kiss.
To be overwhelm with desire for my touch.
Take me to paradise of passion.
I want you to cry out my name.
I want you to rub lotion on her feet, legs and body.
Treat me like we are new in love.”

“I don’t want pretty flowers.
I need your desire for my kiss.
I want you rushing home to fall into my arms.
I want you for Valentine day.”

I smile and bring my lady near.

Kiss her sweet lips.

I tell her. “We will lay in bed till late afternoon. “

I promise to love her today and tomorrow. Forever.

This is so beautiful and I feel blessed to have even lain eyes upon it. I hope the one you love realizes what she has and that the only reason this poems exists is because SHE inspires the love you feel. I must say that you have made a lonely jerk chicken a******s like myself have hope in a possible future true love, if any woman is crazy enough to put up with the words I write. SELAH.
I sincerely thank-you not only for good read but also for inspiration that things may eventually get better in regards to my currently non-existent love-life......

The message of your words is something so many forget in relationships. It takes so little to please a woman and yet we become lost in life and forget the things really important. Well done and well structured.

You couldn't have said better what women feel about being needed - “Please don’t buy me flowers.
I don’t want diamonds or gold.
I just want you to need me."

Fantastic imagery and writing! Good to remind us that sometimes the best things in life are free.

A wonderful snippet of a beautiful life. I think most women would agree with the lady's sentiment in this poem. We don't want diamonds, flowers, or other trinkets. Each lady wants to know and feel appreciated and loved by the one they hold in their heart. It doesn't matter if you're rich or don't have two cents to rub together (this is my perspective) - everything works out if the two continue to love and appreciate each other.
A splendid poem!

If this was taken out as a little jigsaw piece from your personal life (assuming it was inspired by an event one afternoon with your wife) I'd say you got her swept on her feet and reading this would get her all swooned.

The sincerity is spun intricately in your words... it swelled with affirmation and the story behind it is well presented in a poem structured seemingly as a dialogue. It also depicted something to a situation like, a couple being together for so long (or surpassing the honeymoon stage) and the husband/guy have been trying to make efforts in keeping the spark alive, and the wife recognizes all that but wants to reassure her husband that everything is still fresh to her (the love they share since day 1) and for as long they share the same love they nurtured for years.

This is such a lovely poem, simply delightful. Thank you.
