Dear Goddess

Dear Goddess

               Dear Goddess

I remember you dear Goddess. You were my long walk on the  Pacific ocean.

You were the view from the ridge of a great mountain. You showed me your perfect beauty.

I have tried to touch your kind gifts with appreciation and concern. I love the sea, the great valley of flowers and the secret and hidden places of the mountain range.

I loved your song. I loved the whispering of dancing sea, the free land and laughing children. You taught me.

Life is my decision. To love the earth and dance gently upon her. You are our lifeblood and gift to appreciate and protect.

Dear Goddess. Thank you for the new day and opportunity to dance with the sea, to sing with the wind and to celebrate the free gifts of nature.

No not just words. Words we need to live by if we wish to save this planet from our self destruction. Humans tend to be very cruel and heartless. We all need to take the time to do what we can to help each other and the planet in order to ensure that our life and our legacy continues.

I costs to heat myself, to cool myself, to entertain myself, to porn myself in the incandescence
of beautiful women, to drive myself around, to feed and water myself. It even cost me to
keep myself free from sickness and danger. Perhaps all that's left of gift and love is what nature
has for me.

a wonderful poem my friend.

Thank you Emily. Nature should be appreciated and cared for by all.
I simply loved the connection between "goddess" and "mother earth". We need to appreciate our earth more and this poem in itself is a token of gratitude for all that mother earth does for us and provides for us. Wonderful piece of work.

Thank you for reading and I agree.
Que Hermosa. Mother Earth; we must honor, treasure, and nurture the Goddess as she does for us, selflessly. She nourishes and sustains us while we neglect and exploit her, believing we are entitled to do so. I can see that you tread lightly, that you do not take her for granted. I love your poem, Coyote. Thanks for sharing.

Far more than just words... this is music for my soul... how I miss the open spaces and tangles of rainforest, the surging ocean... and most of all " the hidden places of the mountain range".

I'm fond of saying 'where trees outnumber people, that's where my spirit lies'
I do miss my wilderness.

Stunning art as well.
