If you go away...

If you go away...

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Some words.

"

If you go away

We didn’t know,

kind love was near,

we didn’t know.

Love blossom like a flower,

appeared in the Spring of our life and

can be forgotten in the Fall of our life.

If you go away,

can our wintry wings find our way back home to love salvation?

If you go away,

will you remember me?

If you stay with me,

we could create a epic tale,

where lover’s whispers are sung to the stars,

where the lover’s splendor are written upon the nightly sky.

Please stay with me,

please obey the lover’s call to the salvation to keep alive,

the safety of love embrace and love, sweetest kiss.

i am reminded of a scene in the movie "Last of the Mohicans" when he says to his love...
"no matter what it takes and no matter how much time, I will find you"
if the love is true enough...the distance will be overcome....the time in between visits will be overcome...the memory of it will be so strong that it will remain no matter how long it has to wait.

You're welcome Coyote. I'm a big fan of your work.
wonderfully soft & romantic words coyote, loved your poem.

"appeared in the Spring of our life and
can be forgotten in the Fall of our life."
yes, old age doesn't really have much going for it. husbands, wives & friends die-off or family forgets you in their busy life.

i noticed a typo in the line.... "we could create a epic tale,"
it would read better making the 'a' into an 'an' --> an epic tale
