May poetry number twenty..

                     Time waits for no-one.. Some mini poetry.

1- You ran to me and I ran to you.

We believed in love and I believed in you.

You were my free and fluttering butterfly.

And I would dance with you in the wind with the sea near."

2- Time wait for no-one my love, you told me often.

I saw the miracle of hope in your eyes and I told you.

Kind lady, sweet lady, thank you for sharing time with a foolish man.

3-  She had the tattoo of the Raven on her back and  roses on her pretty feet.

She whispered tales of the beautiful sea, the Swiss mountains and we danced.

By the small lake with the blessing of the stars above us.

Blessing us with the evening song.

4-  My great love she was and I told her.

My gentle and kind lady, why are you so sweet to me?

She whispered. Love is like a butterfly.

Free flying and wild in flight seeking safe place to be.

With you I feel safe and you make me smile.

I listened to the song, kept repeating TIME waits for no one, Freddie sure belts it out, and the ou soften it with you amazing sexy swag lines that many dream about. I like the way you created 4 mini poems, but they tie in together very nicely....I love how you swoon to "lady" instead of woman, so polite and period driven, just great...."my gentle and kind lady"why do you stay with me? Well, she loves you and feels safe with such a polite, loving man. Well done John.

had to listen to Freddie first of all my friend! such a talent! but your poem called to me to read before Mercury hit the final note ;) your Native culture speaks throughout this poem ... and most of your work for sure .. the it's subtlety woven into the lines hits me particularly delicate .. the other thing that kind of shouts to me is the "I ran to you", "I believed in you", "I told you" and ...I told her" ... here is a man that is unafraid of those "feelings' and more than that lets her know ... of the times a woman's love has touched my life .. i regret being one of the "silent types" ;) good stuff my friend .. wishing you the best of the day!
