A true love of mine.A Poem by Coyote PoetryBEAUTIFUL NATI DREDDD SONGS AND POETRY FOR THE PRECIOUS SCOTTISH GAL. I LOVED ONCE.A true love of mine… Once a Scottish gal, I did love. We found love on a warm Spring day and I loved her voice. She talked of Scotland and she asked me. My mother told me, a soldier love, a foolish love. The damn soldier just want to drink, the damns soldier boys just want to dance and they just want to steal kisses and run away. Will you run away from me? I told my auburn beauty with the eyes of sea. After I heard her voice, after I held her hands, after I kissed her rosy lips. I will run to you, never away. Once upon a July afternoon, my Scottish gal and me. We danced at the Scarbourough Fair and I told her, Beautiful Sheena, please dear Sheena. Please dance with me, please talk to me. Let’s find our place where love can grow and I want to marry you. We will have many babies and I will always make you smile. She told me. Dear Johnnie. A promise is a promise. When a Scottish girl love you. They love forever. Coyote © 2022 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
