Did I tell you?

Did I tell you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A wise person is thankful for what he has.

"

Did I tell you?

I don't remember if I told you how beautiful you are.

I have allowed so many things to blind my eyes.

Allowing disappointment to steal my smile and laughter.

I know.

If you left me.

I would become lost again.

I have twisted up my life in useless dreams.

Victories seem so far away.

Now I know.

You are my  only sweet dream.

That  I  have  gathered in my time of living.

I want to tell you.

I love you more than my own life.

Without you.

I would have no purpose.

Your love for me is a blessing.

A gift to a man so thankful for you.

Thankful for a kind lady  that touched his life.

I love you.

Your words are beautiful truth Coyote. This poem is a jewel to put in the crown of your love. It matches her beauty, as the photo shows. Eloquent, lyrical, tender...a song to the person whose love must never be taken for granted...in good times and bad...”Did I tell you?” In this poem, you did. Superb!

Okay - I understand that this is a love-note. It's personal and I understand that it has value to you. But I am going to move onto your next one, if you don't mind?

Just words. Meaning for some. Meaningless for others. Thank you for stopping by.

Marvelous! You captured so gently the truth behind the value of loved ones for life......in a world of instant gratification, we need clear eyes to see, and act upon, the stars who would walk the road with us until the end...:)

I agree and thank you for reading.
The lady in this song is so lucky to be loved the way this man loves her. Your lines are so simple and sweet. Most of the things in life would seem pointless if we have noone to turn to or share them. Such special people rarely come, or we rarely get to hold on to them if at all they come by.....

This is really a heart warming piece Coyote :)
