Her

Her

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

A missed opportunity? It's what I do best.
Don't know why I'm surprised, I really should have guessed.

Of course, you're with her, why wouldn't you be?
You're a catch, it's not hard for anyone to see.

And she's pretty, so pretty, I bet she's funny too.
And the way you look at her, she mirrors back at you.

You look happy, I'm glad. No, really I am.
I mean it, you deserve it. My words are not a scam.

She'd be a fool not to love you completely,
And you should be loved indiscreetly.

You're a star in a sky of black
You're a crystalized gem and I'm cracked.

So, of course, you're with her,  why wouldn't you be?
You're wholeheartedly in love with her, anyone can see.
