Tear

Tear

A Poem by Anthony D. Howe
"

This is a repost for me.

"

She sits there
Heart shattered
Wondering why
Their relationship's tattered
She feels alone
Except for the single tear
She cried so much
This is her last for the year
He cheated
He lied
She wept
She cired
Why are some men jerks?
Why do they do stuff like this?
Why can't she stop thinking of him?
"Hi mom..." from her son's lips
She doesn't feel alone anymore
She doesn't feel as depressed
Her son is here
He'll do his best
To cheer her up
Make it all right
After this
A most god-aweful fight
"It'll be ok I'm here,"
A wisper in her ear
"I love you mom"
As he wipes away the tear
