Tiny Moments

Tiny Moments

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

For Tate Morgan..........one that rhymes...........

"

Through rain that sounds on hills of tiny moments
Somewhere beneath a faithful plea
We act out in the deepest shades of gray
As intellects passing in cascades
Of sailing ecstasy

Poets reflecting secret words which breathe in joy
Hiding our thoughts in perfect prose
Until the heavens embrace our smiling sun
And we speak in tongues
That we chose

With full cups of dreams from our imaginations
Step by step we advance on shores
Until all your thoughts rhyme in emotions
And all those tiny moments
Become yours

Sometimes the words are a perfect ryhme and sometimes the words are just a barely labouring stuttering prose.... But each word is perfect that comes before or after.... it depends how the author chose...

This flows like a silken waterfall over rocks smoothed by time...

I love it! You rock! Even while you roll ;-)

I like some rhyme.. not usually though so much seems forced by some, me for one, so i don't rhyme.
This poem is gorgeous in words and message i find within it.

The poets own the language, sometimes rhymes, and their own experience tells us how it was through their artistic filter!

I do (love rhymes)...not forced at all...you painted the perfect picture, as you always
do...always.
You Nevar disappoint...However,
I wished all those tiny moments
became "ours..."not "yours"
you slipped from ours to yours in the last stanza...
I like happy endings..
that being said....I loved the poem

I love anything you write, whether it rhymes or not! You are so talented, truly Neva! As always your words move me and make me think. I think you deserve a 1000 for this, alas, I can only give you a 100! Much love to you!

I find rhymes can be helpful in poetry as it tends to help complete a thought or image. This was lovely.

I like the rhymes that you make not because they have a nice rhythm but because they are creative, you arent one to rhyme hat with cat. I love your imagery to no end and I think your writing is awesome. Ps, love the picture that goes with this

I love the rhythm in this, and the rhymes are subtle, so they don’t overpower the flow!

Great Write!
