Love's Willingness

Love's Willingness

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

Sighs strip the cloth away, revealing their tomorrows..............

"

What began as a trickle moved forward into what can never be forgotten

Flying into hearts and souls as faces, with mysteries that unfold
Holding one another in winds conveying what they feel
Falling to fit inside a claim, heaven must uphold

Hands move through walls of water, beckoning want inside two bodies
Moments hold complexities until all thoughts they feel as one
Sighs strip the cloth away, revealing their tomorrows
Paradise comes in waves, loneliness is undone

Storms of contemplation feel life racing to repeat the steps they know
As their fingers dance on unmade plans with places still to go
Gentle touches brush the grounds of want and need
Forward into now, love’s willingness exposed

Shadows of these days will always linger in their souls leaving colors
Surrounding the breezes capturing love’s attention waiting
What once began as a trickle cannot be left behind
Arms outstretched, love’s river anticipating

This Poem is exquisitely beautiful. Each Stanza ties in to the next telling of the love that two people have for each other, and how each one is there for the other. The love of one for the other overcoming all obstacles. What true love is supposed to mean

My favorite part of this poem is that you take something as common as water and use it to show the connection between lovers. Excellent, truly excellent talent you have.

You know, it's amazing how stretchable (had another word in mind, but couldn't remember it) love is to accept things. Even if something might shatter it, or even potentially mar it, love accepts all of the consequences. We write about its strengths and its weaknesses because we are fascinated by how it still goes on through life and time the same as it always is. It is an amazing thing, and you, Neva, captured how fragile yet willing love can truly be.

You consistently express a deep rich abiding presence of Love, an angel of ardor.

"Storms of contemplation" shows the paradox of passion and being, reminding one of the eye of the storm, the still point within the dynamic energy.

"Sighs strip the cloth away, revealing their tomorrows" suggests prayerful soulsexual fire.

Altogether beautiful.

Not only are you fantastic as speaking for love but you're also amazing at untangling it for others and formatting it in a way that as beautiful as the moments you capture within you ink. Well done :)
