When warm I love you’s join affection
our souls
cannot seem to say
it is time to go.
I can see
no journey’s end
that will ever prove to me
that forever
could ever think
of leaving this love
we stand by.

I hold on tight to your soul
even after
we say goodnight.
Inside my mind, I see visions
looking back at caresses
from your hands
and no door is closed
In my heart
containing any words written
you have not read.

Sometimes life feels like a river
flowing into the dawn
reaching beyond
any love song of passion
clinging to the clouds
I am in.
However, thoughts of you
sail me higher
and higher
into beautiful colors
again.

I am left breathless when I see your hands
moving within the realms
of a thousand
I love you’s
yet to be said.
I can see no journey’s end
to this forever
I feel,
as one by one
they are heard on my skin.

A beautiful statement of love. What a lucky person this is to be cared for so much. I love the phrase "containing any written words you have not read". As though some of this love is kept a deep secret. I wonder how frequently we all keep our love or passion for someone or something else hidden?

Each line built up with more passion for whoever it was written for. It reminds me so much of the beginning feelings of a relationship where you start to consciously be aware of the fact you are falling for that person, hard and fast, and how much you don't mind this; also, you wonder just how much they know you love them and if the feeling is mutual. I honestly think this is one of my favorite poems I've read from you ! You are such an excellent writer, Neva !
