Solitary

Sometimes I feel like I'm destined to be lonely;

 Forever alone;

In my head, with my thoughts.

 

It’s hard to find your place;

And I really think I did.

It’s just not the same.

 

Feels like everyone’s in a perfect world

And I'm stuck in reality;

But even though reality is harder than fantasy;

I’d rather it anyway.

 

Less misguides

Communication error

“this is pretend don’t get your hopes up”

Message got delayed

Damage is done.

 

It’s funny how our dreams show us things we can’t see;

If only other people could see it too.

 

Then when we realize together

We’d have our happily ever after.

But for now, I’m by myself;

And I’m okay with that.
