This Girl'

This girl became strong

she doesn't need a guy

to protect 

to love

or care

for her

she can do that on her own

This girl brings brighter days

to dark clouds

she lets sun shine through

and rain stop from hitting the ground

This girl turn her frowns upside down

she shows her teeth 

and makes the best out of the bad times

she turns sad tears

into happy tears

she doesn't sit in bed when obstacles get thrown in her direction

she finds her way through them

This girl doesn't let past

travel into present

she keeps going

with curves and dips in the road

she still moves past them

she doesn't stop for red lights

or stop signs

she keeps going

This girl knows when you have 

nothing at all

you still have all the

memories
