Requiem

Requiem

A Poem by Charred Faith
"

Love lost in space.

"
Those years alone among the stars,
Our space blind eyes.
A silver-studded love was ours.
A mourning dove cries.
You left me only the Abyss.
Godspeed you home my love.
Embracing now the Angel's Kiss,
In the shining planes above.
Nimbus fails to know her loss,
So now let this requiem be sung,
Until mankind knows the cost,
And all men have been stung.

Sci-fi poetry! Never thought I'd see it. Good job.
