a Candlelight

a Candlelight

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Mountain peak reaches
Light of day breaches

Valley’s crease holds
 sun's glow so bold

Flaxen berries
a blooming

sky light
fading

waxen
wings

rest
low

till
dawn
