Morning Awakes

Morning Awakes

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Morning's breath,
caresses the trees.
While, the shadows of dusk,
are caught in between.
Pale light wafts,
brightening fast,
declaring, the mist
on the field, will not last.
A serape of dreams,
cover the breeze,
and with the cry of the dove, Morning awakes.

You've painted a beautiful picture. I love when words help you to feel what your eyes can't see.

Thank you NE I'm thrilled it spoke to you.
You have painted a remarkably beautiful portrait of sunrise Cherrie. One that is easily viewable to the mind's eye. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
