Mingling Prayers

Mingling Prayers

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Heaven’s tears

freely flow, falling fast.

Mingling with the prayers of men.

Making a celestial mist of praise. That dances upon the wind.

As the waning moon, yawns for rest.

His fading smile slipped away,

to return again at the end of day.

The finishing touch of morning peaks-

With- sunrise's simple splendor,

swathed with morning dew.

What I love the most about your imagery is how the mist of all these combined tears does not feel like a bad thing, but simply a joining together under shared experiences (((HUGS)))

Thank you K
This is how heaven must feel like , the caressing touch from above gives a toasty warm feeling on the palm with nature heavenly goods the " Sun and morning dew "
My favorite lines :
Making a celestial mist of praise. That dances upon the wind.
As the waning moon, yawns for rest.

My favorite lines in the whole poem . The radiance of the moon truly is a reason for a nightly mist of praise riding in the chills of the wind . The poem is truly beautifully made .

You are welcome dear Cherrie.
This is one of the reasons poetry is a great thing to read. Such nice words here:
" Making a celestial mist of praise. That dances upon the wind."

Beautiful. That line alone is one to enjoy and memorize.

Thank you
Dear Cherrie, heavens tears mingle with the prayers of men. How beautiful those words are and how beautiful is nature in all its glory. From sunrise to sunset and all that is inbetween. Thank you for sharing the gift of your poetry.
