Combined

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Raindrop
And
Teardrop
Mingled
-As-
Clouds
And
Sorrows
Combined.

You are welcome dear Cherrie.
I've always said it ought to be raining when they lay someone to rest. I like this. Tears are more like ocean than rain as both contain about the same amount of salt. But all rivers run to the sea eventually and the rain will meet them there.

Thank you Fabian and yes the ebb and flow of the all waters coming together.
Wow I never thought of it like that. A tear drop shows a persons sorrows but a raindrop shows natures sadness. Intermingled it shows how much sadness is in this world. I enjoyed reading this!

Thank you Aura and yes the sorrows of nature and the sorrows of us overlap.

You are welcome. That is very true
In just that little bit you can read a whole storm of thoughts into it. Might be weather storms here or storms of war there. I've been studying the types of parallelism and this gets some of that going. Interesting Cherrie.

I so love this image of sorrow painted in this evocative piece. It is such a haunting portrait. Wonderfully imaginative, Cherrie.

That surely is a cocktail of sadness Cherrie. Nice little piece of brevity. Happe Wednesday.
