Wait On The Sunrise

Wait On The Sunrise

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

some poems are but a whisper

Wait for the sun to rise

With the morning light you’ll be alright

Don’t cry or fret, salvation will come with the rising of the sun

Be brave my lad, as you hunker down and out wait the evil that has you bound

Endless darkness will not win if you yield not to your boundless fright and endure this bleak hopeless night

Don’t flinch nor quiver from deaths inquiring touch He will pass you by if you can turn a blind eye

Don’t run from the screams they are but a trap to snare your soul and take you back

Hold firm your stance and look not to the left nor to the right

Just hear my voice till the morning light

Be brave and bold and stand fast my son

With minutes to count the sun will come, and

You will find a new swagger in your walk

A new sureness in your talk

A glow about your face

As the sun you embrace

Oh the trials of life. Holding on, keeping the faith until the end.
A new day will com
This is amazing, and yes when I read this I feel as though someone is whispering those words of faith in my ear.
Encouraging and Inspirational

It's not hard to see this one in a literal sense or in a Christian metaphorical sense. Either way, one is encouraged to endure the negative until the positive arrives.

Filled with a hopeful courage, you inspire one to walk on... knowing that dawn will come... And as metaphor or more, your words remind us that "this too shall pass." Beautiful whispers.

Faith is the greatest tool when times seem dark... sometimes you must do it on your own and others you need help. A very positive poem.
