Chapter 2

'Jynx?'

'Sis?'

I heard Morgan and Rose as though from a distance and could see them through a slight haze. 'Jynx? You ok?' I heard my big brother shout in my ear. 'Nngh. Stop shouting.'

'She said something! What? Jynx? Are you awake?'

I look up to see Rose's face hovering above mine. 'Rose? Wha..?'

'You blacked out sis...' Morgan's face came into focus just behind rose's

'I..I... saw something...'

'What did you see sis?'

'A... a wolf.. I saw a wolf'

'You saw ... a wolf'

'Yes and the house was....'

'The house was what? Sis?'

'Fire'

'What?'

'FIRE!'

Morgan and Rose turned around to see the kitchen slowly being engulfed in flames. 'OH S**T!' Morgan grabbed Rose as I slowly got to my feet.

'Morgan..?' I trailed off

'Yes?'

'Umm were these there before...?'

'What?' Morgan turned and looked at me as I pointed out a pair of wolf-like ears to him. 'What the hell are they?!'

'I dont know' I looked past Morgan and Rose at the fire that had now started to spread through the doors of the kitchen 'At any rate we need to get out of here' I pointed at the fire and started to stumble towards the door.

'We were as one and we will be again' The voice came through the haze that clouded my vision as everything was getting hotter.

I wonder did someone deliberately start the fire, or was it because Morgan was cooking and forgot all about it. XD That would be so typical. Good chapter. Write more soon.
