Chains of Time

Chains of Time

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

I set you free
Of nether chains
Put on before time
As we are born into them
And of them
Awaiting times cascade
Down the hourglass
The rabbit hole
Till tick tock rests
Upon sandy beaches
Where in mind
These chains of time
Reach out to consume
The last of this battle
Raging on inside the nomad
The nomad who wished
Who dreamed
Who philosophied
Who gave everything
Who cared.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
