Dreaming Icarus

Dreaming Icarus

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

My hopes and dreams
Are carressed by the sun
As gentle kisses
Against waxen feathers
So that I may learn
To hold
And find my way
For I wish
To breach their limits
Learn to fly
With the silken sun
As I do
Against the moons stary glow
Yet here I lay
A man of the earth
Feet solidly planted
Dreaming Icarus.
