My Lady Luck, My Wife

My Lady Luck, My Wife

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

Know I am always suprised
By each kiss
And each thought
Of our togetherness
By the passing days
And all the ways
You love me so
So unforgettably
Profound and powerful
That I sink fathoms into thought
Into mind
And at times
I lose myself
Trying to understand
How the unlucky found luck
Amongst the tragic
Amongst the muck
Through thick and thin
As we walked down the isle
After hell had taken us for a mile
Yet here I am
Will be
Forever lost faithfully
In the eyes and arms
Of my lady luck
My wife.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
