Just for a Moment.

Just for a Moment.

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

As the years pass I find that people don't stop and appreciate the moment.

"

 Stop for a moment,

feel the gentle wind,

warmth from the sun,

gaze into that deep blue sky.

 It's astonishing,

lifes natural order,

taken for granted,

never leaves our side.

 Yet we all swim,

unknowingly of time,

passing one another,

no smile, hello or goodbye.

 Just for a moment,

take notice of the changes,

acknowledge those around,

make better someones day.

 When it passes,

step back and see,

you can make a difference,

it only takes a moment.

I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
