Shapeless

Shapeless

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

Usually I write fluidly never giving myself guidelines to follow, first time trying to follow the box.

"

 Irrelevant,

this is the feeling,

returning to home,

rare does the phone ring.

 Life,

through the sieve,

such separation,

leaves daily routine.

 Can,

someone reach,

into my domain,

and leave a candle.

 Devour,

the shapeless form,

creating darkness,

as it roams.

 Anyone,

bearing the keys,

to illumination,

enter with caution.

First time trying something like this and I honestly don't like it, it's like being boxed in knowing you can't break the boundaries.

Irrelevant Life Can Devour Anyone

This is truly a special poem. Maybe you did it on purpose, but read those stanzas first line with first line then second line with second line and so on and it becomes even stronger and more impressive and maybe even closer to the truth.

- someone reach - the shapeless form - bearing the keys...

This is a good one again and even two in one. Thought provoking and well penned.

Message within a message. Angel Bird spoke my thoughts on this too. So I need not say much more other than that really!

Maybe there always was a candle burning for the one speaking here. And maybe circumstances in both parties life have left them both in doubt of one another, yet again, hopeful. In that, afraid that the routine will only happen again, as there always seems to be someone who wedges between the two, keeping them apart for whatever reason. A reason we here can not understand in a primitive state of human conditioning in society.

Only the subject(s) here would know the underlying answers.

.
. beautifully structured and presented ... darkness is far more common than light ... and sometimes ... it's too overpowering ... this poem pushes all the right buttons and brilliantly so ...

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
