Easter day (Rhyme)

A Poem by Chris Yip

Christian song version to the NO OTHER WAY (RHYME) with the same tune

 Christ on the Cross

You    died    for    us,    that    fateful    day          You    said    you    had,    no    other    way

Your    tortured    flesh,    the    price    to    pay     Your    blood    will    wash,   our    sins    away

And,    I    saw    them,    do - ing    foul - play,

A " bused,    you    had,   no - thing    to    say,

They    left    you    like    broken    red    clay

They    were    fools,    just    out    for    play,

Lost    in    sin,    and    gone    astray,

They    brought    you    down    with - out    delay,

Entombed    a - lone    your    body    lay,

Your    mother    cried,    with    deep    dismay,

Be    strong    and    brave,   for    come    what  may

Three    days,    no    hope,    hard - ly    a   ray

I    think,    I’ll    check,    on    you    to - day

Sur " prised    I    find,     there’s    no    decay,

You’ve    risen    up    on    a   Sun - day,

Praise    the    lord,   I   say    hur " ray !

You put a lot of effort into this. Outstanding work...and inspirational indeed.

Any way the story is told. Jesus died so each of us can find a better place one day. He taught us forgiveness. Such could use him today. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
