They Wont Hurt Her Anymore.

They Wont Hurt Her Anymore.

A Story by Chrissy
"

This is a short story I made about a self harm girl. I hope you like it.

"
At home
she is pushed down to the floor.
Her father pushed her into the wall holding the back of her neck nice and tight  today for not being perfect  again.
Her mother just watches and laughs.
That girl wishes everyday to not be alive.
At school they laugh at her cuts and bruises.
Teachers ask if everything is all right she just says every time she fell down the stairs again.

She
shoot up the drugs.
She put it in her arm she like the way it feels.
As she lays back doesn't know what going on.
She says give me that needle  lets do it again.
Give me that bottle she says lets get drunk as f**k maybe the pain will go away.
As she passes out on the floor the hours and minutes passing her by.
Give me that razor blade she says.
She puts it right on her wrist.
She says she likes cutting deep right down to the veins.
Look at that blood pouring out.
It like a dream she says
And her eyes are drifting away.
What is this what going on she says?
Why do I see flashing lights she asked herself inside her head.
She wake up in the  hospital bed.
I think she okay now.
Her mother and father yelling outside her door.
She puts her hands over her ears.
She says stop the hurting stop the tears just go away and let me heal.
They take her home the next day.
Her father pushes her to the floor.
She lays there to weak to get up.
As her mother and father are doing cocaine in the living room.
She gets up slowly.
She runs out that door yet again.
  Hoping to get away.
Everywhere she goes the pain follows even in her dreams.
Nothing seems real.
She walks the streets.
She looks at the bridge.
She stands on the edge.
She closes her eyes.
And she lets go.
She falls to the deep dark water.
She is gone now.
But I know she is living in a beautiful dream now.

those doctors shouldn't have let her home with them... I know a lot of people call suicide victims cowardly and claim that it was their own choice, but this is a perfect example of how ignorant people are. I'm sorry for her, not because she's dead but because she had to live in that situation. Christians may say they're going to Hell but when they've already lived with the Devil it doesn't mean anything. It hurts to loose people to suicide, it hurts to know that their life was worse than dying. you've written a powerful piece, which brings me more memories than i'd like to unearth, and tells more stories than just the one of the girl in the beautiful dream.

I attempted suicide once! It happens so i'm in therapy for it.

For the Christians reading this, they will see this girl as giving up and going to Hell for suicide. Personally, I have had these experiences with friends of mine who have also done this, and it never got easier. A friend of mine hung himself in his mother's basement on Mother's Day about 3 or 4 years ago. I've done it from a bridge with barbed-wire around my neck. I have even walked in on three that were hanging. I thank my "luck" that I never had to walk in on my cousin's hanging..... not sure at what ends I would have found myself after something like that!! This poem tells hundreds of stories to me..... all of which ended badly, split families up, and orphaned the kids that were left to wonder why they weren't special enough to save their young parents. xoxo -Mark

It is sad when death is sweeter then life. I lost two brother's to suicide. They saw no kindness for them on this earth. One left a baby girl who never saw his child. I like the flow of the story. Allowing the reader to feel the struggle and the pain. Thank you for sharing the excellent story.
