He isn't you

He isn't you

A Poem by Christie Dupuis

Short and simple

He doesn't hurt me or make me cry yeah he says the wrong thing's at times but he goes out of his way and he is kind.
But the thing is he isn't you and I loved you even when I doubted yours and even after all we went through I loved you and it was always you but you spit and curved stoop on my fragile heart.
You promised change but never delivered.
I feel like dirt because I have a boy that would give me the world but you couldn't even give me your word.
