Author's Note

This was written, one night, in a fleabag motel in Perry OH, about a mile or two from Lake Erie (try to find a nice room there, without a reservation, during the on-season,) while the children were sleeping.

This song has taken on a whole new meaning for me, since the death of Dennis.

Wow, this was so beautiful! I loved the way it flowed, it was almost eloquent.. Very interesting and thoughtful. It shed some light on time, how abstract it is, and yet how deeply it affects us and everything around us.. Thanks for sharing:)
