Happiness

Happiness

A Poem by Chrys_Pap
"

Happiness is not an abstract notion as we tend to think...here are some moments that make me feel happy...so simple but so important!

"

my first sip of coffee

the cat which is purring into my arms

keys on the door when I feel lonely

hug

lemon juice

the sound of the rain

praying in the dark

see breeze

the view of the earth from the window of a flying plane

diving

watermelon

wine on the balcony

playing with a five year old and laughing out loud

mum’s cheese pie

… “passed”

driving a cloudy day

getting under the duvet after walking in the snow

floating on the water

sparrows above naked trees

his hand holding mine

rising moon in the nocturne summer sky

forgiving

giving

hot tea with an old friend in front of the fireplace

turkish bath

massage

old photographs

his stubble rubbing my cheek

taking off my shoes after a difficult day

Great write- I really enjoyed this piece. 'Old photographs, his stubble rubbing my cheek, taking off my shoes after a difficult day' - I think we can all relate to your work. What makes us happy? We should always look within ourselves to answer that question & you did it in a unique and divine way. Thank you for sharing your work.
