Breathe

Breathe

A Poem by Cheyenne
"

Just a poem nothing special not even all that great

"

Every single breath you take

Is not enough to make me think

That we could ever be again

That you'd be willing to hold me tight

Against all of your heartless spite

The roughness of your midless love

Are bruises that only you and I can see

Because others dont want to

See how much you truly meant to me

Give me this one lustful sin

Just start to breathe for me again

A very strong poem. You said a lot in so few words. Few people are allow into our mind and heart to see what we really are. I like the complete poem. I like the ending. A excellent poem.

Coming from someone who prefers to pick out the good in everything.... I'd say this is fantastic. Although it's nice when a poem has 'that flow'... I like how this one appears to just be 'off the top of the dome' type thoughts. It's creative. It's different. That's what makes it art. Keep writing.

Be blessed!
